Meet Dr. Hannah Kuurstra

Dr. Hannah Kuurstra completed her undergraduate degree in Physiology with honors at Western University. Subsequently, she attended Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry obtaining her Doctor of Medicine. She trained in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Western University and graduated in 2022.
​
During her training, she has been able to pursue opportunities in Global Surgery and Otolaryngology-related research. This includes training surgeons in under-resourced areas, in her field of expertise, as well as participating in research that contributes to the developing landscape of modern surgery.
​
Investing in under-resourced settings, both locally and globally, is something that Dr. Kuurstra remains passionate about and will continue to be involved in throughout her career.
